Membership Benefits

The benefits of AEngD membership are shared by individuals, industrial doctorate centres and industry sponsors.

EngD centres benefit from AEngD membership through their involvement and collaboration with other centres in developing the EngD brand, and promoting it to industry sponsors, UK government and other potential stakeholders. They can also publish vacancies, news and content, and display their logo on the AEngD website.

Individual AEngD members include current research engineers (REs), successful graduates of EngD programmes, EngD centre academics, and people from industry sponsors and other organisations interested in the EngD. There are significant benefits to individuals across all these groups. For example:
